Stanton Optical is hiring Doctor’s Technicians to provide outstanding customer service, assist with clinical-to-retail transitions, and support sales in a fast-growing retail eyewear environment. You will greet patients, gather information, perform pre-tests, and collaborate with both the retail and clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns or rebuttals.
• Collaborative spirit and cordial relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Provide promotional products and services and facilitate sales.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and complete pre-tests and relevant exams.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards through housekeeping and lab area practices.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure on-time delivery of eyeglasses.
• Notify management of equipment issues and incomplete orders as needed.
• Monitor delivery time commitments to patients and uphold Now Service promises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
