Job summary

Stanton Optical in Springfield, MO is seeking a personable Patient Care / Optical Technician to greet customers, facilitate sales, and bridge retail and clinical services. Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or current enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Demonstrated active listening, rapport building and empathy with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify their needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; collect history and perform pre-tests and basic eye assessments.
