Job summary

Athletico in Mason, OH seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while maintaining data integrity and compliance. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and supports revenue cycle performance with collaboration across clinical teams.

The PEC will participate in training, coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations, and help improve patient access and satisfaction through EMR tools and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with insurance verification and healthcare payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a premier front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographic verification and insurance checks.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone events and community activities.
