Athletico in the United States is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake, financial clearance, and a seamless front-office experience. You will work closely with Clinic Manager, PES, and clinical teams to support data integrity and cash flow.

The role requires handling insurance verification, EMR systems, scheduling, and collection of payments, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and delivering exceptional service to patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• Experience with EMR/EHR and insurance verification preferred.
• Ability to work with cash collections and POS tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake/registration with accuracy and compliance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and portals.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Use EMR, dashboards, and reporting tools to track outcomes.
• Coordinate progress notes with referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone events with the clinical team.
