Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and revenue cycle performance, collaborating with PES, Billing, and Clinical teams.

The role emphasizes scheduling, patient education on payments, and using EMR tools to monitor KPIs and improve processes across the clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with EMR/EHR systems and scheduling tools.
• Experience handling patient payments and insurance verification preferred.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience with warm greetings and issue resolution.
• Complete patient intake and registration accurately to maintain data integrity.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical teams on insurance/scheduling issues.
• Utilize EMR dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes and plans of care to referrals.
• Organize patient milestones and community activities with the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training for front-office operations.
• Provide Rehab Aide cross training on front office duties.
