Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. The role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, supported by a PES.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, intake accuracy, insurance verification, and patient education on costs and portal tools; tempers on issuing and resolving scheduling or billing issues

Qualifications

• High school education required and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with healthcare insurance verification and financial clearance is preferred.
• Experience handling patient payments and billing processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake/registration, verify demographics, insurance eligibility, and authorizations.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options; promote portal usage.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets to support revenue cycle.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve insurance/scheduling issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and drive improvements.
