Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will work with clinical teams and receive support from the PES, contributing to data integrity and revenue cycle performance.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, EMR proficiency, and strong customer service as you support scheduling, payments, and patient communication across the clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills and data entry accuracy.
• Experience with healthcare administration and patient intake preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients and resolving issues.
• Complete patient intake and registration including demographics, eligibility, and authorization.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows for provider availability and patient access.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve complex issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and support improvements.
