Job summary

Athletico is looking for a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while upholding compliance and data integrity. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and works with the PES for support.

The PEC will drive patient engagement, explain financial responsibilities, and support revenue cycle performance through precise registration and authorization processes.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and scheduling tools.
• Understanding of insurance verification and financial clearance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a welcoming front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics and eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical teams to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR dashboards to track accuracy and support improvements.
