Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and compliance. You will support revenue cycle performance and collaborate with clinical teams, reporting to the Clinic Manager and receiving guidance from a Patient Experience Specialist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage is preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing patient payments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools (patient portal).
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet established collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve complex issues.
• Utilize EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to track patient outcomes and support improvements.
