Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and compliance. The PEC collaborates with the Clinic Manager, PES, and clinical teams to support revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities include patient education on financial responsibilities, demographic verification, and utilization of EMR systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and a patient-first mindset.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics and insurance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling and provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
