Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data and supporting revenue cycle performance. You’ll work with Clinic Managers, PES, and clinical teams to optimize operations and compliance.

Responsibilities include registration accuracy, insurance verification, and educating patients on financial responsibilities, with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver front-office service with a positive experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics, insurance eligibility and authorizations.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate clinic scheduling to maximize access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and insurance turnaround.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and improve processes.
