Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will collaborate with clinical teams, support revenue cycle performance, and report to the Clinic Manager and PES for guidance.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, data integrity, and exceptional customer service while supporting scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication across EMR dashboards and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and resolve issues to ensure positive interactions.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographic verification and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools (patient portal).
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows for provider availability and access.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes and plans of care.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community events with the clinical team.
