Athletico is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator in Chicago to ensure accurate patient intake and seamless financial clearance. You will deliver a top-tier front-office experience, verify demographics and insurance, educate patients on payments, and support revenue-cycle performance.

This role collaborates with the Clinic Manager, PES, and clinical teams to resolve issues and maintain data integrity. Fostering patient engagement and coordinating with the clinical staff, you will help drive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track data and improve processes.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and engage with the community.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain front-office proficiency.
• Provide cross-training for Rehab Aide on front-office duties.
