Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator in Chicago to ensure accurate patient intake, financial clearance, and a seamless front-office experience. You will work with the Clinic Manager and clinical teams to maintain data integrity and support revenue cycle performance.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying demographics, educating on payments, collecting copays, managing scheduling, and using EMR systems to track outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service and healthcare administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience for patients.
• Complete patient intake, registrations, and demographic verification.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients.
• Collect time-of-service payments and support revenue cycle targets.
• Coordinate scheduling and communicate with clinical teams and PES/Billing.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to ensure data accuracy.
