Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a front desk coordinator to support the practice’s revenue cycle and patient experience. You will register patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling and communications with clinicians.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely communication, and a strong focus on patient satisfaction in a multi-tasking environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year medical office experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• MS Office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Registers patients in the PMIS and verifies demographics and insurance to ensure timely processing of claims.
• Triage and answer calls, take messages, and communicate promptly.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and balances; post payments and reconcile with receipts.
• Communicate with physicians' offices and staff via EHR and Patient Portal.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and services as required.
