Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage front-office intake, insurance verification, and financial clearance, ensuring a seamless patient experience and data integrity. You will collaborate with clinical teams and PES to optimize revenue cycle performance.

You'll educate patients on payments and digital tools, collect payments, and support scheduling and communication while upholding HIPAA and compliance standards in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel; knowledge of healthcare benefits preferred.
• Experience collecting payments and handling insurance verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics and insurance eligibility for compliance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling and provide accessibility for patients.
