Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will collaborate with clinical teams and support revenue cycle performance while upholding data integrity and compliance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager and provides cross-functional support, with emphasis on EMR use, payment collection, and customer service excellence in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills. Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred; experience with payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration with demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options; use patient portal and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
