Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk during check-in/out and deliver personalized patient experiences, with training provided. This role reports to the Office General Manager and may require some weekend and evening shifts.

You will handle multi-line phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance options, and assist in patient outreach. A friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills are essential to thriving in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
• Flexible and able to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric attitude.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify options at check in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and assist office staff.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide seamless patient experience.
