Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience in a busy clinic in Palatine, IL. The role collaborates with clinical teams and supports revenue cycle performance.

The PEC will educate patients on financial responsibilities, collect payments, and maintain data integrity using EMR systems and dashboards. This full-time on-site position offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, registration, and verify demographics.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
