Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage front-office flow, patient intake, insurance verification, and financial clearance. The role collaborates with clinic teams and supports revenue cycle through accurate data handling and patient communications.

The PEC will use EMR/EHR and scheduling tools to maintain data integrity, communicate progress notes, and assist with community engagement and patient milestones. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication throughout patient interactions.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration including insurance eligibility and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools to improve transparency.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet established collection targets.
