Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the meaningful first touchpoint in our on-site store. You will deliver outstanding customer service while facilitating sales and coordinating between the clinical services team and the retail floor.

You’ll greet patients, schedule and update records, assist in basic eye care tests, and help ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. A high school diploma and 2+ years of customer service are required; a healthcare setting is

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem-solving and flexible multitasking in a team.
• Collaborative spirit and professional conduct with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Coordinate between retail and professional services to support patient care.
• Schedule appointments and input patient history, perform basic tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and ensure timely delivery of eyewear.
• Assist in lab area, report equipment issues, and track delivery times.
• Other duties as assigned.
