Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to be the friendly first touchpoint at our on-site store. You will deliver outstanding patient service while facilitating sales and ensuring a smooth handoff between clinical services and retail teams.

You will greet patients, perform pre-tests, assist with eyewear fittings and repairs, and help maintain brand standards. Requires at least an Associate degree or higher and 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification required or in progress.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Promote available products and services and facilitate sales.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and clinical services teams.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient history and information in the system.
• Conduct pre-tests and tests as required (noncontact tonometry, auto refraction, etc.).
• Assist management with patient complaints and communicate status of work.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery of eyewear.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and order accuracy.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure on-time service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
