Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the meaningful first touchpoint at our on-site store, delivering outstanding customer service while facilitating sales and coordinating between the clinical services and retail teams.

With an associate degree or advanced certification and 2+ years in customer service, you will greet patients, gather information, perform basic tests, and help ensure timely eyewear delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs to ensure a memorable experience and promote available products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history in the system, and perform pre-tests and basic eye exams as required.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and keep stakeholders updated on status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery and ensure accurate orders.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and communicate problems to management.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
