Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the first touchpoint for patients, delivering exceptional customer service and guiding the flow between clinical services and the retail team.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service, an associate degree or higher, and strong communication and empathy. You will help facilitate sales, schedule tests, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, empathy, and strong rapport-building with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs and guide them to available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and perform basic pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and keep statuses updated.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and lab-area oversight.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Notify management of equipment issues or order inaccuracies.
• Monitor delivery times to meet customer promises and improve service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
