Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a friendly Doctor’s Technician to be the first touchpoint for patients, ensuring a smooth flow from clinical services to retail. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sales and patient experience in-store.

You will collaborate with retail and clinical teams, schedule pre-tests, assist with basic eye-care services, and help deliver glasses on time while maintaining brand standards and a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive, with problem-solving skills to address patient concerns or objections.
• Collaborative spirit while maintaining respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Driven by results with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience; promote products and services.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and complete pre-tests and surveys.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and keep clients informed about status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping in-store as needed.
• Assemble lenses into frames, edge stock lenses, and ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses.
