Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize use of providers, rooms and equipment.
• Performs schedule maintenance and coordinates care for patients.
• Communicates with patients and staff to ensure treatment plan adherence.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection on physician productivity and resource use.
• Facilitates resolution of billing issues and required pre-certifications or referrals.
• Registers patients and schedules appointments.
• Provides patient education information and materials.
• Maintains relationships with patients, providers, departments and vendors.
• Answers inquiries related to practice operations and follows up with patients.
