Northwestern Memorial seeks a Patient Liaison who reflects our mission, values and ethics. This role oversees the patient service experience and ensures efficient use of practice resources, acting as a trusted resource for patients and staff and advocating as needed.

You will manage schedules, coordinate care, communicate with patients and clinicians, assist with data collection on productivity and billing steps, register patients, provide education materials, and follow up to ensure adherence

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the service experience for all patients and optimize resource use.
• Manage schedules and coordinate care, including templates and provider availability.
• Communicate with patients and staff to ensure adherence to the treatment plan.
• Assist with data collection and analysis related to productivity and resource utilization.
• Facilitate billing issue resolution and obtain pre-certifications or referrals as needed.
• Register patients and schedule appointments.
• Provide patient education materials as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with patients, staff, and external departments.
• Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and staff about operations.
• Follow up with patients to ensure compliance with tests and care plans.
