Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Liaison to oversee the patient experience and ensure optimal use of practice resources. You will build strong relationships, provide information, and advocate for patients as needed.

Key responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating care, and communicating with patients and staff to ensure adherence to treatment plans. You will support the Practice Manager with data collection and لعب analysis as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
• Performs schedule maintenance such as opening/closing clinic templates and coordinates care for patients impacted by changes.
• Communicates with patients and clinical staff to ensure compliance with prescribed plans.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection and analysis related to physician productivity and resource utilization.
• Facilitates resolution of billing errors and denials, including obtaining pre-certifications or referrals as needed.
• Registers patients and schedules or coordinates appointment scheduling.
• Provides patient education information and materials as needed.
• Maintains relationships with patients, providers, staff, other departments and vendors.
• Responds to inquiries from patients, providers, and staff about practice operations.
• Follows up with patients to ensure testing, prescriptions and plans of care are followed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
