Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify benefits, and ensure accurate data entry while supporting clinicians and managing daily office operations.

Ideal candidates excel in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service and attention to detail. Spanish bilingual is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Physical therapy environment, medical office, or hospitality with strong customer service focus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; helpful in assisting diverse patient base.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone, answering inquiries or directing to the appropriate person.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments to optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Complete insurance verifications and obtain benefits/authorization.
• Maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Keep appointments on schedule and notify providers of delays.
• Manage patient accounts, charges, and third-party claim processing.
