SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our Northern New Jersey centers. You will manage front desk duties, schedule appointments, verify benefits, and maintain patient records to support efficient and friendly patient care.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, multitasking, and attention to detail, with experience in a healthcare setting and bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing healthcare front desk roles preferred.
• Ability to verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate data entry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in person or by phone and handle inquiries.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments to optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Complete insurance verifications.
• File and retrieve patient records to ensure information is accessible.
• Keep appointments on schedule and notify providers of arrivals or delays.
• Maintain patient accounts with up-to-date personal and financial data.
• Record and collect patient charges and manage third-party claims.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow policies and report needed changes; contribute to team efforts.
