Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Coordinator to support front desk operations across Bergenfield, NJ and Paramus, NJ. You will schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and ensure accurate data entry while promoting excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have experience in physical therapy or medical/hospitality settings, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a bilingual Spanish preference.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical therapy, medical office, or hospitality with strong customer service.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at front desk and answer inquiries.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; manage phone calls.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Enter data accurately in EMR and update records.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
• Support team to meet office goals.
