Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a medical/therapy setting preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and patient focus.
• Familiarity with insurance verifications and authorizations is a plus.
• Efficiency in data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, and handle inquiries.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments to optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Complete insurance verifications and obtain authorizations when needed.
• Maintain patient records and update personal/financial information.
• Keep appointments on schedule and inform providers of delays.
• Ensure billing data accuracy and collect patient charges as appropriate.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow policies and contribute to team goals.
