Job summary

UCSF Medical Center seeks a Practice Coordinator to represent the administrative team as the public face of the Practice and to support operations and customer service recovery across multiple systems.

Responsibilities include CRM messaging, referrals, and billing, with strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and patient sensitivity. Position requires collaboration across clinical and management teams and may require work at different UCSF campuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree with related experience.
• Able to pass fingerprinting and is approved to be a cash collector if applicable.
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel; navigate multiple patient records systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills; able to work independently under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent the administrative team as the public face of the Practice.
• Support practice operations and customer service recovery and intervention efforts.
• Handle CRM messages, telephone encounters, referrals, and billing tasks.
• Maintain routine clerical operations and communications; adhere to standards.
• Work at UCSF campuses as needed.
