Job summary

Rangewood Orthodontics is seeking a warm, organized Patient Coordinator to join our front office team at locations serving Colorado Springs and Monument. You will greet patients, check in/out, answer phones, schedule, and support insurance verification and data entry in our practice management system.

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping families feel informed and comfortable from their first phone call through treatment completion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental or medical front office preferred; orthodontic experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, and learning new systems.
• Friendly, patient-focused demeanor and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars efficiently.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with entering patient information into the practice management system.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure all forms and consents are completed.
• Support financial discussions as needed, including explaining payment plans and flexible financing options.
• Coordinate communication with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth patient flow.
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as emails, appointment reminders, and patient correspondence.
• Maintain a tidy, organized front desk environment.
