Job summary

Rangewood Orthodontics in Colorado Springs is seeking a warm, organized Patient Coordinator to join our front office team. You will welcome patients, manage check-in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support the practice management system.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and comfort with scheduling software. Orthodontic experience is a plus, and you will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth patient

Qualifications

• Previous front office experience in dental or medical settings preferred; orthodontic experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with computers, scheduling software, and learning new systems.
• Friendly, patient-focused demeanor and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars efficiently.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with entering patient information into the practice management system.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure all forms and consents are completed.
• Support financial discussions as needed, including explaining payment plans and flexible financing options.
• Coordinate communication with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth patient flow.
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as emails, appointment reminders, and patient correspondence.
• Maintain a tidy, organized front desk environment.
