Qualifications

• At least 1 year of treatment coordinating experience is required.
• Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude.
• Possess great understanding of dental terminology.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Excellent public relations skills.
• Work well with patients and team.
• Committed to punctuality and willingness to stay late as needed.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Sets up treatment rooms for all new patient exams.
• Welcomes new patients/parents promptly with a warm smile.
• Ensures new patient experience is enjoyable every time.
• Checks new patient charts to ensure info is correctly entered.
• Has iPad ready for patients who have not filled forms.
• Handles new patient paperwork and HIPAA-compliant data entry.
• Completes New Patient X-rays for appointments.
• Gives accurate pricing based on treatment plans and insurance.A0Sets up monthly payments per office guidelines.
• Keeps records of contracts, fees, referrals, and other information.
• Helps fill the schedule by coordinating with Front Desk.
• Ensures correct charting and insurance data for submission.
• Collects new insurance information and scans it into the chart.
• Sign contracts with patient/parent by banding date.
• Answers questions regarding treatment.
• collaborates with Practice Managers to update contracts and documents.
• Attends staff meetings and daily huddles.
• Represents the practice positively inside and outside the office.
