Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Services Representative to deliver front desk and call center support in a fast-paced medical office. You will warmly greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and assist with insurance questions to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires excellent communication, strong computer skills, and the ability to travel to satellite offices when needed. Epic experience is preferred and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote positive patient experience.
• Warmly greet and register arriving patients.
• Answer calls promptly, evaluate priority, and direct calls accordingly.
• Schedule new patient appointments accurately and inform patients of preparation requirements.
• Review daily appointment confirmations for accuracy and communications with patients.
• Collect co-payments and explain billing policies to patients.
• Maintain a clean waiting room and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Cross-train to support multispecialty Neurology practice across Stroke, Epilepsy, and Neuromuscular services.
