Turnwell Mental Health Network is seeking a Patient Support Specialist to serve as the welcoming face at our clinics. You will manage front desk operations, check-in, verify demographics and insurance, and facilitate a smooth patient flow.

You will also assist with appointment scheduling, reminders, payments, chart audits, and HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping, with cross-training in select clinical tasks to ensure continuity of care when medical staff are unavailable.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates preferred.
• Experience in front office or patient access in healthcare.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism.
• Manage check-in, verify demographics and insurance.
• Schedule appointments and send reminders via phone/text/portal.
• Collect co-pays and payments at visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR.
• Support chart audits and release of information per HIPAA.
• Cross-train in clinical tasks when MA unavailable.
