Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1–2 years of front office, patient access, or healthcare customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; experience with psychiatric EHR platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients upon arrival; maintain a warm, professional front desk demeanor.
• Manage patient check-in; verify demographics, insurance details, and required forms.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and send reminders via phone, text, or patient portal.
• Answer and route incoming calls; direct to the appropriate team member or department.
• Collect and process co-pays and patient payments at the time of service.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR; support chart audits and information requests.
• Support medical records requests and HIPAA-compliant release of information.
