Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams and the PES for support.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling, educating patients on payments and digital tools, and using EMR systems and dashboards to support revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience requesting and managing patient payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, verify demographics and insurance.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and drive improvements.
• Communicate patient progress notes and care plans to referral sources.
