Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity. The role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams, supported by the PES.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits preferred.
• Experience handling patient payments preferred.
• 1–2 years in healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Register patients with demographic, insurance, and authorization checks.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability.
• Track KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops on issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards for data accuracy.
• Share patient progress notes with referral sources.
• Plan patient milestone celebrations with the clinical team.
• Participate in ongoing front-office trainings.
• Organize activities with the clinical team.
• Provide Rehab Aide cross-training on front desk duties.
