Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake, eligibility checks, and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will work under the Clinic Manager, collaborate with clinical teams and PES, manage scheduling, educate patients on financial responsibilities, and support revenue cycle performance through precise registration and payment processing.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills in a high-volume front-office setting.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including eligibility verification and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and available digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
