Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and seamless financial clearance, reporting to the Clinic Manager. The role emphasizes front-office excellence, data integrity, and collaboration with clinical teams while supporting revenue cycle performance.

Essential duties include greeting patients, verifying insurance, educating on payments, and coordinating with PES and Billing to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with healthcare administration preferred.
• Customer service experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake, registration, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options, including digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets to support revenue cycle.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR dashboards to track outcomes, identify discrepancies, and support improvement.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
