Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

The role collaborates with the Clinic Manager and PES, supports revenue cycle performance, and participates in ongoing training to maintain proficiency in front-office operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service demonstrated in a high-volume, patient-facing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, verified demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet established collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to track patient outcomes and support improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community-building activities with the clinical team.
