Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support data integrity, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle performance while collaborating with clinic teams and PES.

You will educate patients on financial responsibilities, collect payments, and manage scheduling to optimize provider availability. Strong customer service and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and insurance verification turnaround.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes and care plans to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community-building activities.
