Job summary

Sanitas, a global healthcare organization, is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator at our Houston area Medical Center serving Sugar Land, TX. You are the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming, professional experience and guiding patients through the visit.

You will handle pre-visit planning, check-in/out, verify eligibility, copayments, and update records in our EMR systems; ensure PHI is protected and patient confidentiality is maintained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in customer-facing roles in healthcare, hospitality, or similar.
• Advanced English language skills; strong communication.
• Experience with scheduling, payments, or patient inquiries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Verify insurance eligibility, check-in/out, and collect copayments as needed.
• Ensure timely patient flow and monitor schedules to minimize wait times.
• Conduct post-visit follow-up calls and document outcomes (NPS where required).
• Maintain confidential patient records and protect PHI per regulations.
