Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support revenue cycle performance, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical teams and PES.

The role emphasizes onboarding patients, educating them on financial responsibilities, and achieving high satisfaction through efficient scheduling and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook and Excel preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service.
• Healthcare administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience and greet patients warmly.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographics, insurance, and authorization.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and ensure provider access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR Dashboards and reporting tools for data accuracy.
