Athletico is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator in Chicago to ensure accurate patient intake and smooth financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data and supporting revenue cycle performance.

The role reports to the Clinic Manager, collaborates with clinical teams, and receives support from the Patient Experience Specialist. Strong customer service and healthcare admin experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance benefits and billing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience with warm greetings and issue resolution.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographic verification and eligibility checks.
• Explain financial responsibilities and digital tools to patients.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track data and support improvements.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
• Support clinic engagement with patient milestones and community activities.
• Participate in cross-training for front-office operations.
