Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy in Illinois is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data and supporting revenue cycle performance.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager and collaborating with PES, Billing and Clinical Operations, you will greet patients, verify demographics and eligibility, educate on payments and portal tools, and collect time-of-service payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with insurance verification and financial clearance preferred.
• Healthcare administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a friendly front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics and eligibility.
• Educate patients on payments and portal tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate scheduling and support revenue cycle performance.
• Use EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools for data accuracy.
• Communicate progress notes to referral sources.
