Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering an exceptional front‑office experience while safeguarding data and supporting revenue cycle performance.

You will report to the Clinic Manager and collaborate with clinical teams, receiving support from the PES. The role emphasizes compliance, data integrity, and patient satisfaction across daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Experience with payments and insurance benefits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front‑office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake and registration, including demographic verification and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools to improve transparency.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet established collection targets to support revenue cycle performance.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations teams to resolve complex issues and elevate as needed.
• Utilize EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to track patient outcomes and drive improvements.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes and plans of care to referral sources.
• Support clinic engagement by organizing patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
